How our sync works

1. You can sync your Google Calendar to the Outlook desktop app for Mac by adding your Google account and PC by importing your calendar.
2. Import the Google Calendar into Outlook. To export Google Calendar to Outlook, you’ll first need to export it from Google Calendar itself. Open Google Calendar on your desktop. Google won’t let you export the calendar from its app. Press the cog icon in the top right corner then select “Import & export” from the menu on the left.
3. Feels like a Mac app Microsoft moved fast to support Apple’s new operating systems this year, including the recent addition of support for use of Outlook (or Edge) as the default email client.
4. The 'Birthdays' calendar in Google Calendar appears as 'Contacts' in the left pane of your calendar in Outlook. The 'Weather' calendar in Google Calendar doesn't appear in Outlook. Adding Google Hangouts to a calendar event isn't currently supported in Outlook. Rich content in calendar events is not supported, so the buttons under Format Text.

7. A wizard will open select Import an iCalendar (.ics) or vCalendar file (.vcs) from there and click Next.
8. Now, locate the calendar that you want to import and click OK.

1. First, open iCal (calendar of Apple Mail) and click on the toolbar option.
2. Now, select the Preferences option from the drop-down menu.
3. Now, click the Accounts tab and click on the + icon to add or create a new account.
4. After that, select Google from the Account Type and provide your Gmail login credentials to sync the Gmail account with iCal.
5. Check the Calendar in the Account panel and also check the On My Computer. Now choose the account to sync the window and choose On my Computer / Calendar from Outlook folder to add new items.
6. Finally, close the sync window and click on the OK in the warning box.
